Robert C. Ahrens was hired by GCF in 1973 as a management trainee. By March 1997, Bob had assumed the role of President/CEO after performing numerous jobs at GCF, such as Treasurer, Chief Lending Officer, Security Officer and EVP. His commitment to the communities we serve is not just idle talk. In fact, leadership could be his middle name. Bob just completed his term as Chairman of the NJ Bankers Association. He is Past President of the Cumberland-Gloucester-Salem Savings League, Past Chairman of the Gloucester County College Foundation and Past President of the Rotary Club of Washington Township. Bob served on the Board of the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce and regional Board of the American Heart Association. His service to senior citizens was recognized by the State of New Jersey Joint Legislature through a Resolution by the Senate and General Assembly. Bob is married to his wife Linda for 37 years, has two sons and two grandsons. In his "spare" time, you can find Bob on a golf course or working in his yard. As we look toward economic recovery, GCF Bank, with Bob Ahrens at the helm, will continue to provide quality service and products at affordable prices.
